As a manufacturer with sizeable operations, Rameda is committed to building a sustainable organisation that protects our community and environment. As such, we encourage the preservation of natural resources and strive to minimise the environmental impact of our operations and products.
Our corporate environmental policies ensure that Rameda is in full compliance with guidelines set by the industrial area in which we operate, national regulations and international standards for environmental protection.
Rameda’s factories are all ISO 14001:2015 Environment Management Systems Certified
All our factories, which are located adjacent to one another within the industrial zone of 6th of October City, are far from residential areas.

Our major waste streams are solid waste and liquid waste. We process a portion of our solid waste and resell the untreatable portion to third parties such as cement producers. With regards to liquid waste, Management is in the process of conducting a feasibility study, slated be completed before the end of 2020, to recycle our wastewater through third-party recyclers who are currently being screened and evaluated.
We have a systematic approach to monitoring greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data from our manufacturing facility, and we are working to gradually decrease emissions.
